I ordered 20 tons of QPR from Austin Asphalt Bridgeport Plant. It will be delivered later this week to the subdivision. Materials came to $2600. Any help sharing the cost would be greatly appreciated. Delivery will be a little more $. Working with Doug to plan the repair work with his tractor. Date/Time TBD - All are welcome to help.

Update - When they loaded the semi with the QPR asphalt patch, the total load came to 21.33 tons which was slightly more than the 20 tons I ordered. The total for the QPR was $2,769.47. The trucking company charged $250 for a grand total of $3,019.47. Receipts attached below. Thanks to Doug for letting me tar up his tractor! Chances are, you may get some tar on your vehicles for the next few days. FYI - A rag with gasoline will take it off.
I know many of you have said that you will help out with the cost of the materials. Some have asked what their share is. I am not sure what is fair or how to ask for $$, so I will leave it up to each of you to decide. I did this under my own volition because it needed to be done. If we had a Home Owners Association (and I am NOT suggesting that we form one), the most cost effective and fair share of the cost would be to divide it across the 31 lots at $97 per lot. If anyone has contact info for lot owners, maybe we can make that request. I am open for suggestions. If we split it across only home owners, (8 counting me and the other one under construction) it comes to $377 per home owner.
For what it's worth, I will not be keeping score. I expect to absorb a lot of the cost because I am not the type of person to ask others to pay for something I did without asking. Doug does a lot of the same and donates a lot of his time and resources to trying to keep our community in a reasonable state. Please join the conversation on this site. It will provide a good feedback loop and I am sure that each of you has great ideas on how to improve our community.
